DITP officially launched the TILOG VE 2021 the first-ever and biggest logistics virtual exhibition among ASEAN nations pushing forward Thailand’s logistics industry to reach the global level.
On 25 August 2021 - Mr. Somdet Susomboon, Director-General, Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), presided over the opening ceremony of TILOG Virtual Exhibition 2021: TILOG VE 2021 via online platform www.tilog-ve.com which is one of the largest logistics industry’s digitized events in ASEAN. It was expected to generate over 800 million baht of revenue for the sector.
TILOG VE is organized conforming to the policy of Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, to accelerate the service sectors including logistics business and increase Thai entrepreneurs' competitiveness to the global market. This event, the first-ever comprehensive logistics virtual exhibition in ASEAN, represents the platform to connect Thai logistics service providers with buyers and international logistics service providers via www.tilog-ve.com which took place from 25 – 27 August 2021. The event is expected to generate the trade value of over 800 million baht from more than 500 business matching activities.
“Logistics management plays a crucial role in promoting Thailand’s international trade. Efficient logistics management will magnify the opportunities for Thai products and services. Since 2020, the Ministry of Commerce has fostered and empowered over 5,700 logistics service providers, generated a revenue of over 4,300 million baht” said the Director-General.
TILOG VE will also provide the unique opportunity to discover and experience the innovative products/services from Thailand’s logistics companies through various activities, namely Trade Logistics Symposium 2021 where sharing and exchanging insights about logistics and international trade from world-renowned logistics experts will take place, the Excellent Logistics Management Award 2021 exhibition, inspirational talk on “New Gen Logistics ... How to Win” and “Let’s Talk…Talk & Share” which will bring you the latest updates on logistics trends and the consultation sessions on both domestic and international transportation.
